LPEN works with organizations to deliver legally grounded, practical HR training tailored to internal teams. We support customized sessions, group training, and targeted learning focused on specific workplace issues, organizational priorities, or emerging HR risks.
Training can be adapted for leadership teams, HR departments, or cross-functional groups, with content designed to support confident, defensible workplace decision-making.
LPEN’s HR courses are developed to support real-world workplace decision-making by practicing HR professionals. Course design is grounded in the same professional standards used to educate regulated practitioners, with content adapted specifically for the HR context.
Rather than focusing on theory alone, courses are structured around practical workplace scenarios HR professionals encounter in their day-to-day roles. This includes navigating difficult conversations, managing employee relations issues, supporting investigations and accommodations, applying employment standards, and responding to emerging workplace challenges
Courses are led by experienced instructors with practical, hands-on expertise in workplace and employment-related matters. Instruction emphasizes clarity, judgment, and defensibility—helping HR professionals understand not only what to do, but why particular approaches matter in complex or high-risk situations.
Content is designed to be immediately applicable, with a focus on helping HR professionals exercise sound judgment, reduce risk, and support fair, consistent, and well-reasoned workplace outcomes within Canadian organizations.

CPD recognition and reporting requirements vary by province and professional body. Participants are encouraged to confirm how professional development hours may be reported within their specific regulatory or association framework.
Certificates of completion are issued once the course recording has been added to your account and the course has been marked as completed. Certificates include the course title, date, and duration, and are available for download directly from your dashboard.
A step-by-step guide explaining how to access certificates is available under My Courses in your account.
LPEN offers both live and on-demand HR courses. Live courses provide opportunities to learn in real time and engage with instructors, while recordings are made available for on-demand access. This allows participants to complete training in a way that fits their schedules.
When you purchase an LPEN course scheduled for a future date, you will have the opportunity to attend the live session and access the course recording afterward.
LPEN’s HR courses are led by experienced instructors with practical expertise in workplace, employment, and compliance-related matters. Instructors are selected based on their real-world experience and ability to deliver legally grounded, practical guidance tailored to the HR context.
