BC Invites Entrepreneurs in Latest BCPNP Draw

On August 19, 2025, British Columbia held a new draw through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP), targeting business immigration candidates.

The province issued 11 invitations under the Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category, designed for experienced business owners and managers who want to establish or acquire a business in B.C. The minimum score in this round was 124 points.

In addition, British Columbia invited up to five candidates under the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot, a program that supports entrepreneurs who want to start businesses in smaller communities across the province. The lowest score in this category was 115 points.

Last year, B.C. invited around 80 candidates through entrepreneur draws. So far in 2025, the province has issued 169 invitations under the BCPNP, with up to 75 of them going to entrepreneurs.

This draw highlights B.C.’s ongoing commitment to attracting entrepreneurs and investors who can contribute to the province’s economic growth, both in major cities and regional communities.
