Canada has experienced an increase in job vacancies

According to the report of Statistics Canada, The job vacancy rate in Canada increased 0.5% points to 3.3% in the first quarter of 2021. This is the highest rate since comparable data was made available in 2015.

In Q1 2021, the health care and social assistance sector in Canada experienced the greatest year-over-year increase in job vacancies as compared to the other sectors in the Canadian labour market.
