INSTRUCTOR
Cristina Rogov is a senior lawyer and Director of Operations at Exeo. Her legal practice is primarily focused on complex global mobility matters and Canadian corporate immigration. Over the last ten years, Cristina has developed her practice in a variety of different structures, including the federal government of Canada and a major Canadian law firm.
Fluent in five languages, she advises multinational companies on a variety of immigration matters. She has significant expertise in corporate labor shortages and restructuring, workers’ inadmissibility and other international mobility cases involving high-stakes projects. She also counsels individuals on permanent residence and citizenship issues.
In her corporate immigration practice, Cristina represents clients in the context of immigration compliance inspections and due diligence verifications as part of corporate transactions. She has represented clients before the Immigration and Refugee Protection Board and the Federal Court of Canada, including in various alternative dispute resolution negotiations.
An avid traveler and involved community member, Cristina’s expertise is often sought in providing training to fellow immigration lawyers as well as insight on current legislative amendments in Canadian immigration law. She regularly provides coaching to companies in relation to their global mobility policies and restructuring.
Cristina has participated in immigration reform consultations before the Quebec National Assembly and particularly enjoys research and analysis of Canadian immigration law.
In addition to private practice, Cristina is committed to providing pro bono legal advice to individuals and organizations that cater to different types of populations. She is also involved with several Canadian universities in mentorship initiatives for law students.
Cristina holds a Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degree.
