On July 24, 2025, Manitoba held invitation round #250 under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The province invited 19 skilled workers through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams, with a minimum score requirement of 611. Both streams are designed to help Manitoba address local labour needs by selecting candidates who can demonstrate a strong connection to the province, whether through employment, education, or family ties.

Three of these invitations were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code. Inviting Express Entry candidates allows Manitoba to align its provincial selection with federal immigration priorities, speeding up the permanent residency process for highly qualified applicants.

So far in 2025, Manitoba has invited 1,424 candidates through the MPNP, including 274 Express Entry candidates.
