The updated intake schedule applies to candidates and employers in the following capped sectors:
- Trucking
- Retail Trade
- Accommodation and Food Services
These sectors share a limited portion of the total SINP allocation for 2026.
2026 Intake Window Dates
For 2026, Saskatchewan has scheduled six intake windows for applications in these capped sectors:
- January 13
- March 2
- May 4
- July 6
- September 7

Employers may submit applications only during one of these six designated intake windows.
Eligibility Based on Work Permit Validity
Applications during these intake rounds will be accepted only from candidates with six months or less remaining on their current work permit.
Candidates whose work permits are valid for more than six months will not be eligible for these specific intake rounds.
