On March 26, 2025, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were 1,764 Alberta Opportunity Streams, 1,138 Rural Renewal Streams, 386 Tourism and Hospitality Streams, 125 Dedicated Health Care Pathways, around 400 Alberta Express Entry Streams, and 24 Entrepreneur Streams applications to be processed. The number of expressions of interest currently in the selection pool under all streams or pathways is 51,747. In addition, on March 7, the AAIP invited 16 candidates working under the Alberta Opportunity Stream. In this draw, the province targeted professionals working in the aviation sector, with a minimum score of 56. In 2025, the province invited 584 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination under all AAIP streams and issued 1,257 nomination certificates.
