On April 3, 2025, Manitoba conducted its latest draw, #242, within the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw focused on the Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) stream, extending four Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates. Notably, the minimum required score was 721 points, marking an increase of 16 points from the previous SWO draw. In this draw, the province invited candidates under the strategic recruitment initiative. In 2025, the MPNP invited 665 candidates and 149 of them declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
