About the BCPNP Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot
The Regional stream is an immigration pathway for individuals who are looking to start a new business outside the Metro Vancouver Regional District, wishing to make a participating B.C. community their home. A key feature of the Regional Pilot is the community referral requirement. To obtain a referral, applicants must contact their chosen community to express interest and conduct an exploratory visit. WelcomeBC The BC PNP’s Regional Immigration Collaboration (RIC) supports the economic development strategies of communities outside the Metro Vancouver Regional District, allowing communities to play an active role in attracting and retaining entrepreneurs wishing to make a smaller B.C. community their home. How the BCPNP Entrepreneur Process Works
The first step is to develop a comprehensive business proposal that showcases your unique knowledge and experience as an entrepreneur. Candidates must then register through the BC PNP Online User Portal, after which they receive a score based on the information provided. WelcomeBC Those with the highest scores are periodically invited to apply through draws like the ones held on March 10, 2026.
What This Means for Business Immigration Candidates
These draws signal continued activity in BC’s business immigration streams in early 2026. Entrepreneurs considering British Columbia as their destination should ensure their registration is current, their business proposal is competitive, and their scores are optimized before the next draw.
