New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) has launched two enhanced Express Entry-aligned pathways for permanent residence, effective March 5, 2025. The program now includes the Employment in New Brunswick and New Brunswick Interests pathways, with significant updates to eligibility criteria. Notable changes include lowering the minimum eligible age to 19 and implementing stricter residency requirements. The province has received a reduced allocation of 2,750 immigrants for 2025, split between NBPNP (1,500) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (1,250), emphasizing the need for strategic nominee selection.
