On July 21, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry draw #356, inviting 356 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates to apply for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off was 788—38 points higher than the last PNP-specific round. The tie-breaker was set for profiles submitted before June 05, 2025, at 23:50:45 UTC. As of July 20, 2025, there were 256,914 candidates in the Express Entry pool, reflecting strong ongoing interest in Canadian immigration. So far this year, IRCC has issued 45,403 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), with 6,053 going specifically to PNP candidates.

This update highlights the continued importance of provincial nominations and staying competitive with CRS scores in Canada’s Express Entry system.
