On June 6, 2025, the Government of Ontario issued 72 targeted Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the OINP to candidates in the Expression of Interest pool, aiming to correct a system error. The invitations were sent under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills streams to individuals with job offers in the Greater Sudbury/Grand Sudbury area, who are currently residing in Canada and hold at least a Bachelor’s degree. Specifically, 32 ITAs were issued under the Foreign Worker stream (minimum score: 36), 34 under the International Student stream (minimum score: 54), and six under the In-Demand Skills stream (minimum score: 32). All invited candidates created their profiles between June 3, 2024, and June 3, 2025. With this round, Ontario has issued a total of 3,795 ITAs through the OINP in 2025.
