This surge brings the total SUV immigration for the first seven months of 2024 to 3,745, a staggering 688.4% increase from the same period last year. British Columbia led the growth with a 59% spike in immigrant entrepreneurs, nearly matching Ontario’s numbers. If this trend continues, Canada could see 6,420 new permanent residents through the SUV program by year-end, representing a 339.7% increase from 2023.
