As of August 16, 2026, there were 226,859 profiles active in the Express Entry pool. Year to date, IRCC has issued 113,865 Express Entry invitations across all draw categories, including 7,399 to PNP candidates specifically.

Reading the Cutoff

A provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points on top of a candidate’s core human capital score, so a 760 cutoff reflects a base score of only about 160 points, well within reach for candidates with modest combinations of age, education, language ability, and Canadian work experience.
