Stream breakdown

The majority of invitations in this round, 696, were issued under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway’s occupation specific selection, targeting candidates already employed in Manitoba in identified priority occupations.

The remaining 70 LAAs were issued under the Skilled Worker Stream to candidates directly invited by the MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative. These were distributed as follows:

Practitioners advising Skilled Worker Overseas clients should continue to confirm that any declared strategic recruitment initiative or TPP invitation number is entered correctly in the EOI, as MPNP has repeatedly flagged invalid or missing invitation numbers as a common reason eligible candidates are passed over in a given round. Clients with an active Express Entry profile and a realistic Manitoba connection should be advised that an MPNP nomination adds 600 CRS points, effectively guaranteeing an ITA at the next Express Entry round.
