Ontario is considering allowing one-year college graduate students to apply to the OINP

Group of students celebrating success in exams being cheerful throwing arms up

The Ontario Government aims to modify the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to enhance the eligibility criteria for international students. The suggested legislation concentrates on revising requirements for individuals in one-year college graduate certificate programs, that are available across the province in numbers exceeding 900.

This provides a much better opportunity for permanent residency for international students who formerly considered relocating to other provinces. The potential approval of modifications next week will enable a ban on Canadian work experience as a job requirement, which will aid in the progression of more qualified candidates during the interview process slated for early next year. #Ontario, #OINP, #international_students, #PR
