As thousands of Ukrainian nationals are expected to relocate to British Columbia over the coming months, the province has expanded its services and supports to connect Ukrainians to the help they need. On April 14, 2022, the Government of British Columbia launched a new Welcoming Ukraine portal to provide Ukrainian newcomers with free services to find housing, sign up for health-care coverage, look for a job, sign children up for school, as well as learn about other services and supports. In addition, British Columbians also can use the portal to offer support to Ukrainians. The response of the province will evolve as the situation in Ukraine changes.
