On December 9, 2021, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published new nomination issuance statistics. In November 2021, the province nominated 593 skilled workers and approved 2 business concepts. Manitoba also refused 3 business concepts. MPNP invited 849 skilled workers, 9 business concepts and sent LAAs to 4 business candidates. In November, MPNP received 768 applications from skilled workers and 2 applications from business candidates. Currently, the province is assessing 1,103 applications, and the other 1,793 applications are pending assessment.

Additionally, Manitoba nominated 138 Express Entry candidates. In total, MPNP nominated 4,971 foreign nationals, including 905 nominees from Express Entry in 2021.
