On April 9, 2024, the provincial Government of Quebec announced that the Program for Refugees Abroad (Collective Sponsorship) application period will be open from May 7 to June 4, 2024. To assist small groups of 2 to 5 individuals and organizations in preparing their applications, the Ministere de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Integration has made the necessary forms available online. The Program for Refugees Abroad provides the opportunity to sponsor a refugee residing in a country other than Canada, along with their immediate family members.
