Alberta invited 100 candidates and updated the AINP inventory

Alberta has released new results from the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), showing a strong start to November with significant activity across multiple provincial streams.

On November 20, 2025, the province announced the details of two recent AAIP draws:

1. Alberta Opportunity Stream – November 10 Draw

Alberta invited 1,045 candidates under the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS).

  • Cut-off score: 55 points
  • This score is 5 points lower than the previous draw for this stream, indicating increased accessibility for eligible candidates this month.

2. Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors (Healthcare) – November 14 Draw

The province also conducted a targeted draw under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors.

  • Number of invitations: 80 candidates
  • Sector: Healthcare
  • Cut-off score: 52 points or higher

These targeted draws continue to support Alberta’s workforce needs in key sectors while creating opportunities for qualified applicants aligned with provincial priorities.

Year-to-Date Invitation Totals

So far in 2025, Alberta has invited 8,505 candidates through all AAIP streams, reflecting the program’s ongoing role in attracting skilled workers to support the province’s labour market and economic growth.
