On February 19, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the first Express Entry draw for French language proficiency candidates of the year. In round #337, IRCC issued 6,500 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to francophone candidates. The cut-off score of this draw was 428 points,38 points fewer than in the previous draw for this category, held on December 3, 2024. The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 10, 2025, at 16:41:38 UTC. As of February 16, 2025, 234,644 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, Canada issued 17,422 ITAs through seven Express Entry draws.
