Ontario Conducted 2026’s First OINP Draws Under the Employer Job Offer Streams

On February 2, 2026, the Government of Ontario conducted the first invitation draws of the year under the Employer Job Offer streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

Employer Job Offer Streams Included in the Draws

The draws were held under the following OINP streams:

  • Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW)
  • Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream (EJO IS)
  • Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream (EJO IDS)

Targeted Occupations and Candidates

In these draws, Ontario targeted:

  • Physicians
  • Professionals working in health occupations
  • Early childhood educators and assistants
  • Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) candidates

Invitations Issued

The province issued the following number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs):

  • 777 ITAs under the EJO Foreign Worker Stream
  • 1,041 ITAs under the EJO International Student Stream
  • 7 ITAs under the EJO In-Demand Skills Stream

In total, 1,825 candidates received invitations under the OINP in 2026 through these draws.
