Come out of it more competent

Taught by people who file

Instructors are practising immigration lawyers and consultants, not full-time trainers. They teach from current files, so you hear what is actually landing at IRCC and the IRB right now.

In depth, not an overview

Sessions are long enough to get past the summary and into the parts that are actually difficult: the exceptions, the evidence, the arguments that are being run.

Current with the changes

Immigration policy moves constantly. Courses are scheduled against what has just changed, and every recording is dated so you always know what it reflects.

Room for questions

Live sessions leave time for questions on the material, so the parts that did not land get cleared up while you are still in the room. Annual Members also get mentorship Q&A sessions through the year.

Learn across a year

One course answers a question. A year lets you take on new work.

A course gives you the answer in front of you today. A year of them is how practitioners start running files they used to refer out. A stream they had not touched, a tribunal they had not appeared before, an application type they had only read about. Passes and the Annual Membership are built for that. What each one includes, and what it costs, is on the passes page.

Annual Membership

Every regular immigration course for the year, plus mentorship Q&A sessions, the practitioner listserv, LPEN Academy and the Emond book discount.

Seasonal passes

A bundle of the courses running in that part of the year, at a lower price than buying them separately. Spring, Summer and Fall each have one.

Specialty passes

A deep dive into a single area. Corporate Mobility and Across Canada PNP each gather every course we run on that subject in one place.

Courses carry CPD hours, and the certificate is in your account as soon as you finish. What those hours count towards depends on who regulates you. The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants for RCICs and RISIAs, or your own law society if you are a lawyer, and those rules differ across the country. Every course page states the hours it carries and who it is accredited for, so check the course and check your regulator.
